Describe what you believe it means to be socially conscious.

  1. To be socially conscious, is to be socially aware. Knowing who to talk to, such as someone who motivates you to talk. In contrast, socially conscious can know what to say at the right time as well. Me for example I’m not socially conscious. There is no discretion when I talk. I’m off limits, I feel that I should have a parental advisory label, because that’s how non-socially conscious I am. Also, this term can mean, socially knowledgeable about material in your community, world etc. In concluding, one should be conscious of what they say, and only speak on topic/ subject etc—to not offend.

  2. I feel that I'm socially conscious, some times to fault, to the point where I might say something before I think about it first. I'm the type of person who believes that you shouldn't always restricted about of you have to say, especially if thats how you feel. I believe God gave us mouths to express how we feel inside of ourselves. I believe that people should be senistive about what they say when in certain surrounds, but should always say what they truly feel. You cannot always criticize someone because of what they may had said that sounded offensive. I it came from a geniune place in that person and they back up their responses with reasonable facts, then it should be allowed.
