The internet

Given the vast amount of information on the world wide web, how do you use it to your advantage? Do you have sites that you would recommend? Explain.

  1. when it comes to note-taking I really don’t have any recommended sites. However, I recommend that students or people in general who are trying to better their note taking skills read books related to the bettering note taking skills. Search note taking under Google or yahoo, I bound you we find a solution to your question in regards to note taking.

  2. I find the use of the internet very useful, it allows you to look up all different types of information in a matter of seconds. From the current weather report, to sport scoreboards, worldwide cultural news, and etc. Without the use of the internet, we as human-beings (especially college students) would not complete even half the work that we do now in school. I have no real recommended websites because everytime I look up a new bit of information, it always leads me to a new website, they are all pretty much useful depending on what you are researching. The knowledge that the internet holds is solely for our own benefit as people, so when ever given the opportunity to do so, we need to look up and information and educate ourselves about the world around us.

  3. AG I think its great that you use the internet regularly, but I'm wondering how much time you're spending finding sites. Have you considered social bookmarking sites like delicious? Check out this site which explains how to use social bookmarking to organize the sites that you find useful

  4. I use the internet quite a bit. Its easy and its convenient. Internet access is extremely useful for research and completing assignments. As far as websites I use, it depends on the assignment. If I'm doing scholarly research I might choose to use google scholars. For background information for a simple starting point I may go about using Wilkipedia. The internet provides me with information needed to reach an objective and as I said before its convenient.
